Our AS9100 Certification
Our AS9100 extends and strengthens the Quality Management System we put in place for our ISO 9001 certification – with key updates in the control of service quality, suppliers, and purchasing, including special attention to the approval process for open source software used in our products. These improvements enable us to better serve Aerospace and Defense industry customers as well as ensuring quality services and products for all of our customers.
Quality Policy
Orion’s Belt Engineering, Inc. is committed to fulfilling customer and other applicable requirements by continuously using innovative technology, providing our customers with excellent services, and meeting or exceeding our customer’s demands. This will be accomplished through continually improving our services and internal processes and fulfilling our Quality Objectives as defined in our Quality System.

7.1.5.2 – Measurement Traceability Orion’s Belt Engineering does not use calibrated equipment in the commission of their business.
8.1.3 -Product Safety- Orion’s Belt Engineering does not manufacture or provide services that impact safety.
8.5.1.2 - Validation and Control of Special Processes- Orion’s Belt Engineering does not manufacture products that require special processes.
8.5.1.3 - Production Process Verification- Orion’s Belt Engineering does not manufacture products.

Our AS9100D / ISO 9001:2015 audit was performed virtually by IAPMO SCB. The process really supported the needs of our small business.

Core Business Solutions
Our Quality Management System is hosted in the Core Business Solutions software. This cloud based implementation meets our needs for Quality Management and Configuration Management in a way that easily supports our remote employees. The solution includes our processes, procedures, training plans, Supplier Qualification forms and Evaluations, Action Items, Risk Management, Corrective Action Reports (CARs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
